I’m surprised that you didn’t comment on Bens acting ability as being one of his disabilities in this movie

You have an NPC that just over reacts to everything, someone who is striving to be a actor or thinks the world is just a movie staring them. so everytime they are in scene they act as if they are on stage, you could even just for a laugh have them do the soapy stare after they deliver a line. then pause for a minute and have him whisper to the player thats thier queue to leave. if you want to get real meta about it at the end make the game one giant movie/ book and reveal that the players were not real but figments of a young childs imagination as he was reading a great story about some adventures. (was the story real or was it just real in the young childs mind?)

Oh, I love that! The NPC finishes his monologue with a flourish, then whispers to the PCs, "Exit stage left!" and runs off. That could be a lot of fun. Your second idea could be a lot of fun. It doesn't seem like it'd be much different than most games, though, unless you injects some of those crazy things kids claim. "The cave bit me!"
